Suspect At Large: Double Shooting Leaves 19-Year-Old Dead In Westchester

Authorities are searching for the suspect involved in a fatal double shooting in Westchester that killed a 19-year-old and left a second teenager injured.

The incident happened on Wednesday, May 31 around 8:20 p.m. in Yonkers in the area of 55 Morris St., according to Yonkers Police. 

At that time, two victims in a black sedan were shot at through the car's driver's window. This resulted in a 19-year-old Yonkers man being hit at least two times, including once in the chest, and an 18-year-old Yonkers man being struck at least once in his leg. 

First responders soon arrived at the scene and rendered CPR to the 19-year-old, who was then brought to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. His name has not yet been released by authorities. 

The second victim was brought to a local area trauma center in stable condition and is expected to recover, police said.
